Hey guys, I’m still trying to trade in your good will for a silly and esoteric video game joke.

So a while ago, I was having a conversation with my friend Brett where we were joking about bad pop-culture mashup shirts, and we started making a list of what we thought were the most baffling combinations of ideas that we could put together, and I stumbled on The King of All Cosmos from Katamari Damacy reenacting Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son. I drew it up, thinking it was funny and it would be fun to send it around and try to get rejection letters to collect and showcase here.

Then I showed it to a few people and they said they really liked it, so I decided to submit it to Threadless. It’s up now.

If you like it, and would like to share it/vote for it, that would be cool, and would go a long way to helping me to focus more on making new art and comics (which is what I like doing most of all).

If you don’t, that’s cool also.

Earthworm Jim was one of my favorite games as a kid. And by that I mean it was the only game I actually had for a really long time.I don’t usually go into my personal beliefs (because I’m a fucking weenie and also I think a lot of my personal views can be opaquely discerned from the sort of subject matter I usually write, draw or make videos about, and also because I’m a fucking weenie), and I don’t really like the idea of calling out a dude I don’t know, but I really feel like I should say I really don’t agree with the worldview of Earthworm Jim creator Doug TenNapel. But goddamn I love those games and I don’t want to let thinking the guy responsible for creating the character has a bummer of an attitude take away from my memories of playing those games as a kid.
Either way, Earthworm Jim fucking ruled.

A drawing of Dogan from Psychonauts, one of my all-time favorite video games, that I started back in January, only to realize I had no idea what I was doing at the time, and kinda left it unfinished for several months.
I think it’s pretty cool, and if you’ve never played Psychonauts, you should probably do that. It’s like, ten bucks.

Yeah man, I don’t know. I had this idea to draw a comic about some tough guys in prison talking about anime dating sim video games, because those are weird and uncomfortable to me, and I’m also really fascinated by people attaching romantic attachments to inanimate objects and fictional characters.
But I’m not sure I like the way this turned out for a lot of reasons, but I’d like to put it out, be done with it and move on to something else. I just hope it makes sense, and the lettering is legible at all.
