I recently ended up watching Mick Foley’s 1995 match with Terry Funk, and well, to be honest, it was one of the most compelling, and honestly kinda terrifying things I had seen in a while. Unrelentingly violent, and with a sense of a honest, desperate struggle. I ended up reading about him, and found out that he’s a genuinely great human being, and from what I can tell from interviews, other wrestling clips, and samples from his writing I’ve read, a really ernest and sweet dude. I did this really quickly, and it’s super rough, but I really wanted to capture that aspect of him in a kinda innocent way.Drawing this made me really happy, and I’ve been out of it a lot recently.

In the middle of an actionpacked friday of faking serious bodily injuries on people for a shoot for some friends, I got a chunk of glass lodged in my hand, after melodramatically falling over in mock exhaustion. I managed to fuck up a pratfall bad enough that I actually hurt myself.

It’s been a long day and I am covered in bruises and dirt and lotion and grease paint. And my back really hurts now. I rarely post photos of myself, since I’m kinda uncomfortable with personal attention and try to avoid posting things that aren’t content necessarily, but hey, wouldn’t this make a really douchey album cover? Anyone wanna start an industrial band with me? Or maybe, like, really awful black metal?
