I recently ended up watching Mick Foley’s 1995 match with Terry Funk, and well, to be honest, it was one of the most compelling, and honestly kinda terrifying things I had seen in a while. Unrelentingly violent, and with a sense of a honest, desperate struggle. I ended up reading about him, and found out that he’s a genuinely great human being, and from what I can tell from interviews, other wrestling clips, and samples from his writing I’ve read, a really ernest and sweet dude.

I did this really quickly, and it’s super rough, but I really wanted to capture that aspect of him in a kinda innocent way.
Drawing this made me really happy, and I’ve been out of it a lot recently.
